Agency/Office: Army Contracting Command, MICC Location: MICC - Fort Hood Title: Open End Demo Requirements Contract Description(s): Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood, Texas, is issuing a PRE- SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to provide DEMO Services, Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is 100% competitive HUBZone solicitation under NAICS 238910 (Size Standard $15 Million. The magnitude of the procurement is estimated between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The work shall be located at various locations on Fort Hood, TX. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer. Building(s) will and will not be occupied during performance of work under this Contract. The purpose of this contract will be used to provide miscellaneous DEMO Services to all areas of the Fort Hood Military Reservation at Fort Hood, Texas. The Contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work, to include: Demolishing buildings located on Fort Hood, site improvements such as parking lots, sidewalks, and related utilities. Work also consists of site restoration to include placement of top soil and sod or hydromulch. Demolition of some buildings may also require asbestos, mold, and lead paint surveys as well as the abatement of these materials. All work shall comply with all State, Local, and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required licenses and permits to perform construction work on a Federal installation, be properly bonded and insured in accordance with FAR requirements.
