Pole Barn Demolition

This is a special notice to solicit more potential bidders and meet the publication requirements of FAR 5.101 for expected actions over $15000 but under $25000. There will be no further notice on FBO of this action. The White River NF - Dillon Ranger District has a requirement to demolish a pole barn in accordance with the description below. This action will be a set-aside for a small business and possibly a certified HubZone business based upon response. This will be a simplified solicitation procedure with a written RFQ emailed to the vendors who respond. This will be a construction contract with the Davis-Bacon wage requirements for Summit County, Colorado. If you are interested in receiving an invitation to a pre-bid site visit and a bid package, please email the POC priort to the response deadline. Include your contact information, your DUNS number, your socioeconomic status and your capabilities statement. PROJECT SCOPE AND LOCATION: A. Description of Work: Structure demolition, removal and disposal of single story government metal building and miscellaneous adjacent debris. Debris includes propane tank and related piping at the rear of the structure. The structure demolition includes interior wood mezzanines at the north and south ends of the building. Care is required to prevent damage to the concrete floor/slab during demolition, as it is to remain for future use. Demolished materials shall become Contractor's property and shall be removed from Project site. Salvage and recycling of materials is encouraged. Provide all labor, material, and incidentals necessary to perform the demolition/removal in accordance with these specifications. B. Price Range: $0 - $25,000 E. Contract Performance Time: 30 Days
