Solicitation # W911NF-24-S-0008
The Army Applications Laboratory Broad Agency Announcement W911NF-24-S-0008, issued by the U.S. Army Futures Command, seeks disruptive research and technology developments to ensure capability overmatch across seven modernization priorities, including Long-Range Precision Fires, Next Generation Combat Vehicles, and Soldier Lethality. The program focuses on the discovery, acceleration, and translation of breakthrough innovations, specifically targeting Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum information systems, and autonomous platforms. The solicitation is open to a wide range of sources, including government, academia, and industry, and allows for various award instruments such as procurement contracts, cooperative agreements, and other transactions for research or prototypes. Mandatory submission requirements include the SF 424 (R&R) form, a project abstract limited to one page, and detailed technical proposals. Applicants must be registered in the System for Award Management with a Unique Entity Identifier and CAGE code. Notably, Amendment 1 adds specific DFARS compliance requirements for proposals involving the handling or transport of Sensitive Conventional Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives. The response deadline is April 5, 2029, with submissions directed via email for contracts or through Grants.gov for assistance agreements.
