The Washington Military Department is initiating a statewide contract to provide comprehensive internet services for Washington Army National Guard recruiting locations, supporting their communications and recruitment activities. The contract term spans 60 months with a possible 36-month extension, dependent on available funding. The contractor’s responsibilities include the design, installation, and maintenance of scalable internet infrastructure, including the provision and configuration of cabling, routers, and other essential equipment at each designated site. Each location—spanning communities such as Lakewood, Puyallup, Vancouver, and others—will have a required bandwidth of 100 MBPS, and the services must quickly scale to accommodate emergency or surge needs. The contractor's scope also covers full maintenance and managed service agreements, ensuring consistent performance across all sites. Interested bidders are required to register with Washington’s Electronic Business Solution platform and meet the state’s licensing, certification, and diverse business inclusion requirements if subcontractors are involved. The value of the contract is estimated between $5 million and $15 million.
