The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina, intends to negotiate a Sole Source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source, to Mar Cor Purification, 16233 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693, for the provisions for Pre-filtrations Replacements and Endotoxin Replacements within the Federal Correctional Complex, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina. The Contractor shall provide qualified service staff, necessary test equipment, parts inventory as required. Performance inspections will include a complete inspection and calibration of each unit as described in the current equipment services manual. The NAICS code is 221310 with a size standard of $7.0. The period of performance for this procurement will be October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Friday, September 23, 2016. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply products and services that will comply with the requirements and perform satisfactorily manner. Vendors must also provide references from other customers who are using these products and services, and show that competition would be advantageous to the Government, Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
