The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Corrections Bureau, is soliciting quotations to supply and install water softeners and for water softener exchange services to support the function and operation at three (3) correctional facilities at the following locations: Cois M. Byrd Detention Center (CBDC – kitchen), Larry D. Smith Correctional Facilities (SCF – kitchen and laundry), and Robert Presley Detention Center (RPDC – kitchen). The service requested will support the on-site laundry and kitchen operations. The daily meal count for each location is as follows. 1. SCF: 4,800 meals per day 2. CBDC: 3,600 meals per day 3. RPDC: 2,700 meals per day The number and size of the tanks and frequency of service for each location will depend on the hardness of the water. In addition, bidders are responsible for their own equipment and supplies needed to evaluate this bid. Should the service and frequency of service change at any time, the selected vendor must notify the facility manager before making any changes or starting a new schedule. The Scope of Service is detailed in Exhibit A. In addition to your bid response, please upload a detailed quote.
