Water, Street & Drainage Improvements - W Phillipsburg Phase 2

The Tift County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive cost sealed bids for the Water, Street and Drainage Improvements project for the West Phillipsburg Community Phase 2 in Georgia. The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 3,600 linear feet of twenty-foot-wide urban roadway featuring curb, gutter, base, and asphalt, along with the installation of storm drainage pipes and boxes. Additionally, the project requires the replacement of approximately 1,230 linear feet of 2-inch PVC water main, including the transfer of existing water services and the installation of fire hydrants. The project will be awarded as a single contract, with a timeline of 180 consecutive calendar days to reach substantial completion and 194 consecutive calendar days for final contract close-out. To be eligible, bidders must be pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractors, and all watermain construction must be performed by a Licensed Utility Contractor. Mandatory submission requirements include a Bidder's Affidavit of Compliance with O.C.G.A section 13-10-91 regarding E-Verify, a bid bond or certified cashier's check for at least ten percent of the bid amount, and the contractor's license number clearly displayed on the bid envelope. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent of the contract amount from a Georgia-licensed surety company.
