The US Coast Guard Research and Development Center has a requirement for a hydraulic cylinder and supply system to run pre-existing wave generator. The system is to create waves with an amplitude of 24 inches and a frequency of 1-20 seconds. System will be used in a 100 Ft Long x 30 Ft Wide x 5 Ft High pan located at the USCG Joint Maritime Test Facility on Little Sand Island, Mobile, Alabama. Wave level is variable depends on how much volume or height is called for with each test as well as height of wave desired. It is recommended that it maintains 1 Ft below height of pan to accomodate waves. Average depth of pan is 4 Ft with a recommended difference between water level and edge of pan of 1 Ft. Please contact MK1 Lauren Goodell to set up a visit. (251) 441-5041.
