The project is classified under NAICS code 333924 and is designated for SLED (State and Local Government Entities). The contract value is estimated to range between $500,000 and $2,000,000. Bidders are required to register on the Supplier Portal, which has been open for 54 days, and must submit an updated range of prices with a current date, referencing the last price list attached. Access to detailed project information and the bid table necessitates Bonfire registration and initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process, where vendors can find project specifics and response fields. All purchase orders issued under this contract are governed by DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which are available for download. Bidders must include freight costs in their quotes, adhering to FOB Destination terms, as DART typically does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timing and rates are critical, with strict adherence required; failure to deliver as specified may result in rejection or contract termination for default. Payment will be made within 30 days of invoice receipt, which must include specific details such as PO number, item descriptions, quantities, and prices, and should be submitted in triplicate to the designated email. Termination clauses allow DART to cancel the contract for default or non-performance, with provisions for damages and re-procurement costs if applicable.

Full Description
PURCHASE ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS -- All purchase orders are subject to Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority's Terms and Conditions. The complete PO Terms and Conditions PDF is available for download in the "Supporting Documentation" section below. Freight Terms Notice - Please ensure that all bids/quotes reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with the freight cost included in the overall price. DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Delivery Terms Notice - Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence of this order. Seller's failure to deliver at the time and rate specified shall be the basis for rejection and default termination by the Authority (Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority). Payment Terms Notice - All vendors are advised that DART's payment terms are Net 30. Invoices shall be submitted (contact@example.gov) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. Unless otherwise specified, payment will be made on partial deliveries accepted by the Authority when the amount due on such deliveries so warrants. Invoices will be paid 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, unless other payment terms have been agreed upon in writing. Termination for Default Notice - The Contracting Officer may by written notice terminate this order, in whole or in part, for failure of the Seller to perform any of the provisions hereof within the time periods specified. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
