The Bureau of Prisons intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source award to Business & Legal Reports (BLR) to provide the Bureau of Prisons with Bureau-wide Web based access to all State and Federal Occupational Safety and Environmental Compliance regulations as well as a variety of mission critical and required training tools. The award will be processed under the authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.301-2 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance is for one year, beginning on 9/26/2008 and ending on 9/25/2009. This announcement constitutes the only announcement for this requirement. Quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Any responses received within 10 days of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the Government to open this requirement to competition, based upon written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions or inquiries regarding this notice should be emailed to ddharris@bop.gov . No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
