On January 30, 2026, CDFW issued this RMP pursuant to section 1670 et seq. of the Fish and Game Code to the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (District). This Project will restore perennial emergent marsh, open water, and transitional wetland habitat within the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta island known as Webb Tract by creating a series of connected managed wetlands units which will provide quality habitat for Delta native species. CDFW has determined that the Project is a Qualifying Restoration Project pursuant to section 1671(d)(1) of the Fish and Game Code, and the Project is expected to result in a substantial, cumulative benefit to migratory waterfowl species, giant garter snake, western pond turtle, and tricolored blackbird. This notice is to advise that CDFW issued the above-described RMP on the date signed below.
