Website Strategy, Design, Development & Ongoing Services for the Village of Schaumburg, Al Larson Cultural Center & 90 North

Schaumburg is the largest center of economic development in Illinois, outside the City of Chicago. In addition to the 9.5 million square feet of retail and restaurant space, the Village has over 12 million square feet of office space and 13.5 million square feet of industrial space. With a daytime population of 150,000, thousands of businesses, 31 hotels, over 300 restaurants, highly educated workforce, superb location and high quality of life, Schaumburg is a dynamic community in which to live, work, build and visit - known as 'The Place for Business'. The Village's digital presence must serve residents, businesses and other stakeholders seeking government information and services while also reflecting Schaumburg's "vibe" - inclusive of identity, people, places, cultural experiences and economic opportunities. The Village maintains three websites serving distinct but related purposes. The Village of Schaumburg website provides government information, services, transactions, transparency and community news. The Al Larson Cultural Center website promotes performances, programming, ticketing and facility information. The 90 North website supports economic development, investment, events and the identity of Schaumburg's emerging entertainment district. The Village website will represent the largest and most complex portion of the project, followed by the Al Larson Cultural Center and 90 North websites. Through this project, the Village seeks to modernize and coordinate these digital properties while preserving an appropriate identity and user experience for each. The goal is to create welcoming, accessible and easy-to-manage websites that provide intuitive access to information and services while supporting stronger community storytelling.
