Weed Abatement Services Along The Western Boundary Of The Simi Hills Golf Course

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District is soliciting bids for weed abatement and vegetation management services along the western boundary of the Simi Hills Golf Course in Simi Valley, California. The primary objective is to create defensible space for fire hazard reduction by removing acacia, palm trees under 10 feet, and other hazardous vegetation and debris within 50 feet of all structures. Additionally, the contractor must thin vegetation between 50 and 100 feet from structures to establish 15 to 20-foot wide horizontal spacing. The scope includes the legal disposal of all debris, with an additive bid item available for the removal of palm trees exceeding 10 feet in height.
