Weed Abatement Services Along The Western Boundary Of The Simi Hills Golf Course

Bid #2026-04: The project requires comprehensive weed abatement and vegetation management services along the western boundary of the Simi Hills Golf Course to create a defensible space for fire hazard reduction. The scope of work includes the removal of acacia, palm trees under 10 feet, other hazardous vegetation, and accumulated debris within 50 feet of all structures. Additionally, the contractor must thin vegetation between 50 and 100 feet from structures to create 15 to 20-foot wide horizontal spacing. An additive bid item covers the removal of palm trees taller than 10 feet. All work must comply with the standards of the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District and the Ventura County Fire Department. The contractor is responsible for the legal disposal of all cut vegetation and debris.
