Solicitation 40023-S27005 is an invitation for bids issued by Northshore Technical Community College for the procurement of specific welding machinery and accessories for the Hammond Campus. This is a proprietary, brand-name-only bid that strictly prohibits substitutions. The required items include three 12 FT to 7 FT M Connector Cables (K2910-2), ten Magnum Pro 250L Welding Guns (K4874-2), three Magnum Pro 15 FT push/pull guns (K4797-1), and two Power Wave 300C Advanced Education One Paks (K4934-1). Bids must be submitted by November 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM via post or email to Richard Butler. The contract is governed by Louisiana state laws and purchasing regulations, including L.R.S. 39:1551–1736, and allows for preferences for products manufactured or assembled in Louisiana. The agreement may be extended for two additional 12-month periods, not to exceed a total term of 36 months, and the college reserves the right to cancel the contract with 30 days' written notice.
