Well 10, Well 11 & Well 12 - MCC Replacement

The City of Avondale Public Works Department is soliciting bids under IFB PW 27-010 for the replacement of Motor Control Centers (MCC) at Well sites 10, 11, and 12. The project involves the demolition of existing MCCs and the installation of three NEMA 3R, 200 HP standalone Reduced Voltage Soft Starters (RVSS) rated for 600 A, 480 VAC, 3-phase. The scope of work includes replacing all line and load-side power cables between the MCCs and well pumps, while reusing existing external control and signal cables where possible. Preferred manufacturers for the equipment are Square D Altivar and Yaskawa, and the new control strategy must be identical to the existing systems.
