Scope: Rancho California Water District (District) is soliciting bids from qualified water well contractors to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tooling, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform casing repair and well cleaning services at Well 154. The work generally includes mobilization and demobilization; removal of the existing approximately 3-foot column pipe and cone strainer from the bottom of the well; mechanical wire brushing; high-pressure Well Jet or approved equivalent casing/screen cleaning; chemical treatment and surge-block agitation; District-authorized casing repair by swaged liner/patch; dual-swab airlifting; open-end bottom airlifting; and related cleanup and demobilization.The objective of the Project is to clean and restore the well casing and screened intervals, repair identified localized casing deficiencies when directed by the District, remove accumulated scale, mineral deposits, sediment, and other material that may restrict flow, and improve the condition of the well to support water quality, casing and screen integrity, pumping efficiency, and production. The Well 154 design point is approximately 700 gpm at 215 feet TDH and is provided as project context; it is not, by itself, a guaranteed post-work performance criterion unless expressly stated elsewhere in the bid documents.Known well information includes an approximately 18-inch casing diameter, louvered screen intervals generally from 50 to 220 feet below ground surface (BGS), a total depth of approximately 260 feet BGS, and a reported static water level of approximately 55 to 65 feet BGS. The attached driller's report and District-furnished video inspection shall be used to confirm field conditions
