Westside Community Cooling & Resilience Center Project

The Westside Community Cooling & Resilience Center project, managed by the Westlands Water District in California, involves the installation of a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic system and battery energy storage. This system will be located on a 2,500-square-foot parcel adjacent to the Westside Community Center in Five Points. The primary objective is to fully offset the facility's annual electricity consumption and provide a reliable power source during grid outages, wildfires, and extreme heat events.
