The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a single supply award for the provision of a Wide Area Mower at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. The minimum requirements shall include a turbo model with a minimum of 89 HP, 4-cylinder liquid cooled, turbocharged, direct-inject diesel and a minimum of 192 inch cutting width. The vendor shall adhere to the delivery schedule in the solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside, FOB destination, firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be available on or about August 3, 2011, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about August 17, 2010. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
