OCFA is accepting bids for the purpose of establishing one or more contracts for the purchase of wildland firefighting boots and related repairs and sizing services on an as-needed basis. Bids are requested from suppliers that are responsive, responsible and offer the best pricing and value. The contract resulting from this bid will be a multi-year agreement subject to the terms and conditions contained within the sample Master Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit One. OCFA is seeking a collaborative partner that will support the supply of wildland firefighting boots. The supplier will work with OCFA to attend large sizing events, schedule individual sizing, and provide repairs services. Boot orders will be placed throughout the term of the contract and will be coordinated by OCFA Service Center personnel.OCFA will contract with the respondent who submits a responsive and responsible bid and offers the best pricing and value. OCFA may elect to award contracts to multiple suppliers if it is determined to be in the agency’s best interest. The initial term of the agreement will be for three years and will allow for up to two optional one-year renewals, provided both parties agree to the extensions.
