This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Beale Air Force Base (AFB) Fire Emergency Services (FES) has a requirement for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) wildland firefighting tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to safely equip personnel for wildland, brush, and grass fire suppression operations. The comprehensive requirement includes various quantities of wildland PPE shirts, pants, leather belts, gloves, face/neck shrouds, boots, goggles, headlamps, and face protector masks.
Compliance Requirement: All proposed items must comply with the current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1977 standard. The awarded vendor must provide documentation or tags upon delivery verifying that all PPE items meet this standard.
