Wind Tarps Installation-Market Research Only

This is a sources sought notice for market research purposes only, issued by the Department of Defense through FA4417 1 Socons at Hurlburt Field, Florida, to identify capable small businesses for the potential installation of pre-purchased wind tarps on Building 90538 at 624 Red Horse Road. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to modify and install wind tarps on the building perimeter to serve as weather barriers, using corrosion-resistant stainless-steel cables, brackets, and eyelets that avoid damaging existing steel girders. Installation requires anchoring to the concrete foundation and must allow tarps to be raised or lowered to adapt to environmental conditions while fully complying with the Florida Building Code and OSHA standards, including fall protection requirements under 29 CFR 1926. All work must be completed within 30 days of contract award, with a performance window of 10 business days following start, subject to excusable delays such as severe weather. The contractor must demonstrate experience with at least three similar projects completed within the past five years and provide a one-year warranty on all work.
