U.S. Marine Corps, Blount Island Command (BICmd), Contracting Office, Marine Corps Station (BICmd), Jacksonville, FL 32226 hereby gives notice of intent to award a Sole source Task order for Wireless Communication Services CONUS for a period of one year. This task order shall be issued under Contract N00244-18-D-0003, a Government Wide Multiple Award Contract, executed by Naval Supply Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego CA. The justification for this sole source award is pursuant to the Fair Opportunity Exception contained in FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(c) Interest of economy and efficiency, as this is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the previous contract. This requirement will be awarded to Cellco Partnership, CAGE Code 1HWU7, under Contract N00244-18-C-0003 Verizon and an approved Sole Source Justification and Approval shall be posted upon award. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
