AI Contract Overview
The contract involves the procurement of two units of a wiring harness, designated under NSN/Part Number 6150-01-575-1433, with a delivery requirement of five days after the date of order. It is solicited by the Department of Defense through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), specifically managed by the Aviation Supply Chain ESOC BUYS office, with the place of performance at Fort Chaffee. The solicitation number for this acquisition is SPE4A0-26-T-3173, posted on May 18, 2026, with a response deadline of May 26, 2026. The contract adheres to various technical and quality requirements as detailed in the DLA Master List, including packaging, removal of government identification on non-accepted supplies, and marking of bare items. Further, the contract imposes stringent sampling and inspection procedures consistent with military standards such as MIL-STD-1916 and ASQ H1331, ensuring quality conformity with defined attribute levels and acceptance criteria. Additionally, the contract stipulates export control restrictions on technical data related to the wiring harness, governed by ITAR and EAR regulations, requiring contractors to hold specific certifications, complete mandated training, and obtain approval from the DLA to handle export-controlled technical data. This reflects the sensitive nature of the components and compliance with national security considerations. The primary point of contact for the solicitation is Danita Davis.
