WOLFHOUND Signal Processing System

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the WOLFHOUND signal processing system in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to DRS Signal Solutions, 1 Milestone Center Court, Germantown, MD 20876 due to these items are direct replacement parts of system already deployed. The deployed system and must be exact form, fit, and function replacements for the units in the deployed system. The end users of the system perform maintenance on an identify and replace methodology at the module level and they do not have capability to modify the physical installation or the operational software of the system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893618Q0346and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
