Full Description

This is a notice of intent to issue an order to WSI Corporation, 400 Minuteman Road, Andover MD 01810, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for WSI software maintenance equipment/software for existing WSI Weather Computer systems at AFN Weather Center, Offutt AFB, NE. The WSI equipment/software maintenance includes 24 x 7 by 365 critical support and application level. Application support Monday - Friday 6 am to 2 am Eastern Time. The contract will have a base year plus four option years. This announcement constitutes the only notice, a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
