The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming State Fair (Procuring Agency) will receive bids until 1:00 p.m. MT on January 9, 2025 through the Public Purchase online bidding system for the Fort Laramie Dorm Roof Replacement Project, located at 400 W. Center St., Douglas, Wyoming 82633. Project Description: This project will consist of removal of the existing roof system in its entirety, removal of light weight concrete from existing roof deck, removal of existing roof deck, and removal of existing curbs, gutters, down spouts and other items per Construction Documents. Installing new metal roof deck, rigid roof insulation, single ply roof system, curbs, gutters, down spouts and other items per Construction Documents. Only bids submitted through the Public Purchase site and on State of Wyoming forms will be considered. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review, through Public Purchase at www.publicpurchase.com for answers to questions, addenda, or bid tabulations. Telephone calls, emails, or faxes may not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. MT on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, starting at the Wyoming State Fair, 400 W. Center St., Douglas, WY 82633. Bidding questions shall be submitted on the Public Purchase website by 5:00 p.m. on December 12, 2024. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers on the Public Purchase website or in the form of a written addendum posted on Public Purchase by 3:00 p.m. on December 17, 2024. Questions received after 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on December 12, 2024, will not be addressed. It is the Contractor's responsibility (not required) to add their company to the Plan Holders and Contractors List. If a bid is greater than $150,000, each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid, which shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check (a copy of a check will not be accepted) drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), or an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000. ONLY if you are submitting an original 10% bid bond or submitting a 10% cashier check, it MUST be received in the Procurement Office at: Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Office, 700 West 21st Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002, by 1:00 p.m. January 9, 2025 .
