Full Description

The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, digital imaging acquisition software and a workstation for the existing Building 2728 X-ray system located at Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane IN. The workstation must be compatible with the software. Award will be made to North Star Imaging in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The award to North Star Imaging will allow continued standardization of software systems. Current x-ray systems at Crane Army Ammunition Activity utilize North Star Imaging software, and use of the same software for this requirement maximizes technician competency and efficiency, reduces training costs, and limits the opportunity for failure associated with operator error due to software differences.
