The United States Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Arlington, Virginia, that will be expiring. The Government is seeking to lease approximately 40,990 contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. The rentable space must yield a minimum of 36,753 contiguous ANSI/ BOMA Office area square feet. The lease term requirement is for a firm 5 years. The space must be available for occupancy by March 1, 2007. The delineated area is the submarket of Crystal City, Northern Virginia. Other requirements applicable to this requirement include: ? Must have ready access to the metro rail within a 1,500 linear foot radius ? Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities. ? Space must meet the Federal Governments standards for fire safety. The Government is considering whether to remain in its existing lease space or relocate to alternative space.
