The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Hampton, VA intends to negotiate a commercial (GSAM Part 570) Sole Source lease under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The VA intends to award to Venture Properties Group, LLC, 763 Comtech Drive, Pembroke, NC 28372 for a maximum of 6,049 NUSF at its property located at 139 Three Hunts Drive, Pembroke, NC 28372. Current tenant organization Robeson County Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) occupies approximately 6,049 NUSF and requires a new lease. Movement to an alternate site is cost prohibitive. Staying in place saves Federal dollars for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Accordingly, the Venture Properties Group, LLC is the only firm capable of providing the supplies and services described above without the Veterans Health Administration experiencing substantial duplication of cost that could not be expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling its requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is prepared in support of this acquisition. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
