Submission of any information in response to this market research is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred associated to this request for capability information. The purpose of this Sources Sought / Expressions of Interest is to identify potential sources and suitable locations. The Government is under no responsibility to respond to and is unable to answer any inquiries regarding this advertisement. Respondents are advised that the Government assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this Source Sought. Description: The U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) desires to lease sufficient Rentable Square Footage (RSF) of 33,020 of real property space to yield up to approximately 24,459 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) / 28,128 ABOA Square Feet in Berks County, PA for use as a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). Space must be contiguous and handicapped accessible, outside 100-year flood plain, and VA prefers space located on single floor, ideally ground level or served by a medical-grade elevator; public transportation must be located no further than one-quarter mile from the clinic entrance. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider existing space that complies with all current building, seismic, and ADA code requirements. On-site, dedicated parking for 150 vehicles is required. A total term of up to ten (10) years will be considered.
Delineated Area: North: Interstate 78 East: PA-863 to Chestnut St to PA-100 South: PA-23 to Interstate 76 West: PA-897 to PA 419 The attached map of the delineated area is provided for further clarification of the boundaries of the delineated area.
