AHC PLAZA 09 The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to construct all of the following: temporary pedestrian walkway, remove existing concrete and tile plaza, remove existing concrete steps, excavate two feet below the bottom of the existing concrete Plaza and refill with washed rock and a subsurface drain system, install an electric snow melt system in both the Plaza and the steps, pour concrete Plaza and install a decorative brick tile top, re-pour the stairs, fix or realign irrigation sprinklers for plaza planting boxes, and other items as specified in this contract. All work shall be in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work under this Contract is located in Montezuma County, Colorado. This requirement is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The anticipated period of performance is 83 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee - 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds - 100% of the contract price. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their bids. The solicitation, specification and drawing documents will be posted on or about May 27, 2009.
