The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), is seeking prime contractor construction services to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, travel and supervision for an asbestos Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity contract at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV. This procurement is 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Task orders may include, but are not limited to, asbestos, mold, and lead abatement, preparing work areas for building operations, demolition and abatement of asbestos containing building materials, performing work for the restoration of those areas with new non-asbestos containing materials. The maximum cumulative cost under any resultant contract shall not exceed $1.4 million dollars, which is for one year after receipt of award. Minimum for each task order is $3,000.00. Maximum for each task order shall not exceed $250,000.00. Estimated construction cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 562910, size standard: $14 million. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. Only SDVOSB Firms currently verified in the Veterans Information Pages (VIP) at www.vetbiz.gov are eligible to submit bids. SDVOSB firms that submit proposals on SDVOSB set-asides that are not listed on VIP will be deemed nonresponsive. Solicitation documents will be available on or about February 13, 2012.
