Y--Fish Screen Barrier

Design and construct a flat plate fish screen barrier and appurtenances. Work shall include pre-design data collection, such as site surveying, and measurement of water surface elevations and velocities. The work includes removal of the existing fish barrier, located on Blaine Spring Creek, and installation of two new separate barriers; one on Blaine Spring Creek (upon the existing fish barrier foundation structure), and one within the Bar 7 Ditch, downstream of the existing diversion structure at Blaine Spring Creek. The work is located at the Ennis National Fish Hatchery, Ennis, Montana. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is open to both large and small business. The evaluation factors include past performance and price, with past performance being more important than price. The solicitation will be issued on/about September 3, 2002. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be on/about September 24, 2002.
