GFO OBJ BRIDGE DESIGN BUILD Bureau of Land Management, Department of the Interior, Colorado State Office, Lakewood, Colorado has a requirement for design phase and construction phase. For design phase, the contractor will complete a full set of design plans and specifications. The design plan and specifications will include load rating for bridge structure and will be stamped and signed by Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Colorado. This work shall include any required survey, soil testing, geotechnical investigation and other research and investigation as needed to complete the work. The contractor shall provide conceptual design and product options to meet BLM needs for review and comment. The contractor at a minimum shall provide 30% and 60% progress submittals for BLM review and comments prior to final submittal. For construction phase, the contractor shall provide a construction schedule for approval by BLM outlining when the major milestones shall be completed. The contractor shall submit a conceptual plan demonstrating how they plan to complete the project without impacting any of the surrounding wetlands. BLM will provide a map of the wetland locations. The contractor shall furnish and install selected bridge including all abutments, approaches, and other features for a fully functional bridge. In addition, the contractor shall coordinate transportation with the County Road and Bridge department. The contractor shall warrantee the construction for 1 year and the bridge structure for 5 year. Lastly, the contractor shall provide BLM with a suggested maintenance plan for the complete bridge. A pre-bid site tour will be provided on August 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM local time.
