The planned project includes the replacement of major sewer system components such as piping, lift stations, and manholes, along with design, permitting, and construction work to repair or replace structures in the inner harbor and the south seawall. The project’s primary goals prioritize sewer system replacement, followed by repair or replacement of critical harbor elements including the tug pier, harbor seawall, finger piers, and the south seawall as optional tasks. This effort will be executed under one firm fixed-price contract with a construction magnitude exceeding $10 million. The anticipated performance period for the sewer system replacement and environmental compliance is two years, while other tasks may extend for up to five years.
