The Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is requesting sealed bids for repair of the existing bridge crane rail at Chief Joseph Dam Powerhouse Units 1 through 27, Bridgeport, WA. The work will include but not be limited to relocating some mechanical splices; installation of anchors and rail clips as required -- limited to crane rail realignment, and concrete repair under sole plates. Repair the bridge crane truck for two 165-ton cranes. This work includes, but is not limited to: new bearings; seals for wheel axles and pinions; bushings; bogie pins and one wheel gear set. End truck to be measured, removed from crane, sandblasted, inspected, including MT inspection of welds, and repainted. The bridge crane to be load tested after repairs are made. At the direction of the Contracting Officer, the wheels, axles and gears shall be replaced.A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. This procurement is Unrestricted.
