The work consists of demolition; painting; degrading the existing levee; constructing temporary flood protection; placing geotextile, embankment material, stone, concrete slope pavement, concrete scour protection, surfacing, asphaltic pavement; turf establishment and maintenance; driving steel sheet piles and steel pipe piles; pile load test; installation of a swing gate; construction of reinforced concrete floodwall, emergency access road; and other incidental work. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
