Y1DA--Sidewalk Replacement Throughout Lyons Campus

This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside for sidewalk replacement at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System Lyons Campus located at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, New Jersey. The project requires the complete removal and replacement of approximately 12,180 square feet of damaged concrete sidewalks across multiple locations including Buildings 143 and 57, Buildings 53 and 54, the 1st Circle area encompassing Buildings 1 through 11, and Knollcroft Road. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment, including a dumpster and safety fencing to secure the work zones and prevent patient access. Work includes demolition using saws and jackhammers, removal of debris, installation of forms made from premium 2x6 lumber, placement of ¾-inch gravel base and #6 wire mesh reinforcement, pouring of 4,000 PSI concrete at least five inches thick, curing overnight, reinstalling ADA-compliant warning pads, and restoring surroundings with topsoil and grass seed. All curb work totaling 1,500 square feet must be saw-cut and rebuilt to code. The contractor is responsible for removing all debris, fencing, and dumpsters upon completion and reopening the sidewalks. The contracting office is the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 02, and all bids must be submitted electronically via SAM.gov; faxed or hand-delivered proposals are not accepted.
