From DD1391: Description of Proposed Construction: This project renovates approximately 3,220 SF of existing Secure Area formerly assigned to Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC Yokosuka, disestablished October 12, 2021) for assignment to N50373 Navy Information Warfare Development Center (NIWDC) for use as a Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) Team Training laboratory at Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Building 1997, East Wing, First Floor. This Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) project will require review and accrediting by the Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) and/or Accrediting Official (AO) for compliance with ICD705 Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities. The LVC Team Training laboratory will include training workstation space, administrative. space, communications & data equipment racks, overhead tray distribution, minor storage space, and secure penetrations for HVAC and telecommunications/data cables. The facility will feature access control system, climate direct digital control system (DDC), accommodation for rack-mounted training support equipment, computer-based communications systems, monitors and workstations, servers, telephone switches, secure conference room with VTC capability, and Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). Telecommunications for this project will include NIPR, SIPR, Secret Defense Research and Engineering Network (SDREN) and Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) connections, TS/SCI Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS) system connections, CATV, and connections for a VTC conference system. Cabling must follow TEMPEST countermeasure guidelines in compliance with direction from Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA). Telecommunication cables run outside of the controlled a ...
