Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to replace haulout building roof at U. S. Coast Guard Group Fort Macon located at Atlantic Beach, NC. Major work items include the following: Demolish approximately 2700 SF of aggregate surfaced asphalt built-up roof system to the concrete substrate including insulation, wood nail, cant strips, flashing, parapet coping, scuppers, collector box, and downspouts. Demolish the existing hood cover and curbing in it?s entirety to the concrete deck. Install a wood frame and cover within the roof deck opening (approximately 9SF) flush with the existing roof deck. Install approximately 2700 SF of fully adhered 2 ply modified bitumen roof system with granular surface cap sheet including insulation, treated wood nailers, cant strips, flashing, aluminum coping, scuppers, collector box , and downspouts meeting or exceeding all requirements of FM I-90. Unit items: Provide and install approximately 2300 SF of additional 1-1/2 inches of insulation and approximately 360 LF of 2x4 treated wood nailer. Handle and dispose of asbestos containing material (ACM) identified as part of the demolished roofing material. This procurement is estimated between $25K and $100K.
