W912EK-15-T-0057 Communications Re-Cabling - USACE-MVR This pre-solicitation notice is in support of Communications Re-Cabling South End Clock Tower Annex Building, Corp of Engineers-Rock Island District, Rock Island, IL The contractor is to Supply, Install, Test, Label, and Document a new data network for two (2) floors of the south end of the Clock Tower Annex building. The contractor shall perform all work necessary for new computer and phone network infrastructure and remove all existing unneeded network and telephone cables as specified in the solicitation scope of work. The solicitation will be a request for quote and issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code 811213 will apply with the size standard of $11 million. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government: price only. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov on or about May 19, 2015. The date and time for receipt of quotes is by June 10, 2015 at 2 PM CT. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps (FBO) website for amendments to the solicitation. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Services). All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov.
