Z--Demolition of Various Facilities at NAS Whiting Field and Eglin AFB, FL

The project is for the demolition of existing facilities at NAS Whiting Field, FL and existing facilities at the Navy EOD School located at Range D-51 on Eglin AFB, FL. The intent of the demolition project is to completely restore the areas at each location to their pre-construction condition as the facilities are no longer in service. The contract requires demolition of all structures in their entirety; demolition /removal of all above-ground utilities; and demolition/removal of all below-grade utilities and structures. Contract requires complete removal of all demolished material from the site. Upon completion of the demolition, the sites for must be graded, finished and seeded to match the surrounding natural landscape and as indicated in the construction documents. The scope of the work includes complete demolition of all existing structures indicated, including slabs and foundations, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, all equipment back to their applicable source, and power systems and telecommunications systems whether identified or not identified in the drawings. The contractor is required to install protective fencing around these sites for the duration of the contract work. Period of performance 210 calendar days.
