Project includes removal and disposal of the existing bituminous pavement, subgrade corrections, installation of a stormwater collection and retention ditches, bituminous paving, and removal of existing chain link fence and one 16 foot gate. Project is located in St. Louis County in Morse Township, less than one quarter mile west of Ely Minnesota at the south end of Shagawa Lake. Proceed north on Central Avenue to Shagawa Road and turn left. Follow Shagawa Road approximately one mile to the Seaplane Base Facility. The desired date for starting work is approximately June 15, 2005. Recommended contract completion time of November 1, 2005. Please direct all TECHNICAL QUESTIONS to Dave Mattei at 218-365-7617. Mr. Mattei will also be the point of contact for site visit requests. Official date for receipt of quotes will be shown on the bid package, which will be posted in it's entirety at this site at a later date. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is unrestricted. MODIFICATION NOTE: Amendment two extended the date for receipt of quotes unto the close of business on April 21, 2005.
