The Grand Teton National Park Mormon Row Cultural Landscape Improvements – Phase IV project involves comprehensive construction and rehabilitation efforts within the historic Mormon Row Historic District near Moose, Wyoming, with work scheduled from June through November 2026. The project focuses on enhancing visitor access, safety, and interpretation through the repair and resurfacing of trails and viewing areas to meet Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards, the installation of clear wayfinding and interpretive signage, the construction of a new off-street parking area accommodating approximately 50 vehicles on nearly two acres, and the development of improved pedestrian pathways, a raised road crosswalk, fencing, vault toilets, and site furnishings. All work must maintain the historic character of the district while adhering to strict environmental protection, preservation, and accessibility standards, including compliance with ASTM, ICC, NPS, and AASHTO codes. Construction will occur along a nearly three-quarter-mile corridor with Mormon Row Road remaining open to the public throughout, requiring carefully sequenced tasks to minimize disruption. The contract includes a base scope with five optional line items covering additional trail improvements, native soil trails, wayside amenities, and revegetation, with Option C replacing Base CLIN 2 if activated. The work must be performed with minimal environmental impact, using recycled and environmentally preferable materials, and all wood must be treated and kiln-dried to specified standards per AWPA and ASTM guidelines, with packaging subject to post-consumer recycled content requirements.
