The work consists of approximately 800,000 cubic yards of interior excavation that will be used to raise the perimeter levees. There will be rehabilitation of the existing drop-outlet structure, which will include sand blasting and painting, and the removal and replacement of pipes. Also, one new drop-outlet structure, will be constructed. Estimated completion time is 300 calendar days. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 22 August 2008.
