Full Description

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. This requirement is for the procurement of construction services to provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the remodeling of rooms 401, 401-A, and 401-C on the 4th Floor of the United States Courthouse, 400 South Phillips Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. The scope of work for the project includes the removal of approximately 1056 square feet of 2' x 4' ceiling tile and grid; approximately 8 light fixtures; approximately 160 square feet of drywall partition; approximately 480 square feet of plaster from the existing brick wall; existing hot water radiation fin tube heater and controls; existing exterior window casings; approximately 1056 square feet of existing broadloom carpet; approximately 1600 square feet of wall covering; and approximately five (5) doors and one door frame. The scope of work for the project also includes the installation of approximately 1600 square feet of new wall covering; 6 new hanging globe type lights,4 new 2' x 4' light fixtures; approximately 429 square feet of new 2' x 4' ceiling and grid; 4 new 6 panel style and rail doors; new government furnished door casing around 6 ea, 3'-0 x 7'-0 door frames; approximately 12 new electrical and data/phone outlets; and one (1) new oak bifold door and door frame. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about August 8, 2007. Security clearances will be required for all workers.
