Full Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Bruce W. Carter MVHS Medical Center, 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, Florida 33125, will be soliciting proposals to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to Replace Pathology Laboratory Countertops, Project 546-11-866. A Statement of Objectives will be provided for offerors as part of the solicitation to formulate a means, method, and approach to meet the facilities objectives for the replacement of damaged laboratory countertops on the 3rd floor of building one, Room A305. A pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled and noted on the solicitation which should be available for download on or about December 31, 2010. The Government will use best value source selection in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 and intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The Magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS Code 238390 described as Other Building Finishing Contractors and size standard $14.0 million applies. The solicitation package should be available for download on or about December 31, 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. This is a 100% set-aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Applicable (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx.
