IGF::OT::IGF X:NOGRN,Construction, Replace Edgewater Stables Roof, Washington, DC 20008 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, National Capital Region, Western Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation for replacement of the Edgewater Stables indoor arena roof, a U.S. Park Police resource within Rock Creek Park, 2400 Beach Drive, Washington, DC 20008 on or about July 1, 2017 under SOLICITATION NUMBER':P17PS01597. Work will consist of (but not limited to) providing all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to perform demolition of existing two layers of shingles, felt underlayment, aluminum gutters, downspouts and sheet metal flashing installation, and replacement of approximately 50% of board sheathing, The property is an active U.S. Park Police Mounted Unit horse training stable. Detailed construction specifications, and drawings will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238160. The small business standard is $15M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(d) the Project Magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on a best value basis. SITEVISIT: Site Visit information will be in the posted solicitation. TYPEOF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor on or around the August 15, 2017. Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Washington, DC will apply. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about July 1, 2017 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all documents will be posted at this website for download. Note: Phased performance of work under this project shall be coordinated with a related construction project to rehabilitate the adjacent stable riding ring. Coordination with that project¿s awardee shall be established to minimize the impact to both horses and operations of the U.S. Park Police Mounted Unit Training facility.
