This procurement will be issued as a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) through RFP procedures under FAR 15 and other FAR Parts and Subparts as applicable. The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVCHS), New Orleans, Louisiana, has a requirement to design and build (Design/Build) a project to provide all labor, tools, material, and staffing required to design and build out site preparation for receipt of new CT Scanner equipment. Work shall include demolition and removal of existing equipment, modification to infrastructure, electrical and HVAC to receive new equipment, refinishing and refurbishment of space in immediate work area and areas impacted by contractor work to include but not limited to finish replacement, patching and repair. The new CT Scanner equipment may not have similar specifications with the existing equipment, so the Design/Build Contractor is expected to make modifications to the space to receive the new CT Scanner equipment. The tentative date for issuing the RFP is on or around April 28, 2022, with proposals due approximately 30 calendar days later on or around May 31, 2022 (the RFP will state the exact time/date that proposals are due). The anticipated contract award date is approximately 30 calendar days or less after receipt of proposals. The Contract Performance Period is 242 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Location of the work is as following: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System 2400 Canal St New Orleans, LA 70119 NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this RFP and the Small Business Size Standard is $39.5M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Interested offerors are asked to first read over the RFP and all its associated attachments and documents in their entirety prior to forwarding any questions to the Contracting Officer. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed in the RFP as well as a time/date for the scheduled Site Visit. Only one Site Visit will be conducted and no requests for additional Site Visits or make-up Site Visits will be granted. The RFP number for this project is 36C25622R0075.
