The work is performance-based and requires the contractor to maintain robust, 24/7 operational capabilities to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats across NIH infrastructure, ensuring alignment with federal security standards and regulatory requirements. As a subcontract, this effort supports a prime contractor or larger program, meaning the successful bidder will integrate their services into an existing cybersecurity framework. The absence of set-aside information implies the opportunity may be open to all eligible small or large businesses without specific socioeconomic preferences. The contractor must be prepared to operate at a high tempo, maintain strict compliance, and respond effectively to evolving cyber threats impacting critical health research systems.
